I am a Neuroscience major originally from Farmington, New Mexico. Since my youth, I have been captivated by the intersection of psychological phenomena and the underlying physiological mechanisms of the human body and mind. At the Merkley Brain Lab, research integrates computational methods, neuroimaging, and psychological assessments to deepen our understanding of the brain's response to traumatic brain injury. My long-term aspirations involve pursuing a career as an endovascular neurosurgeon, specializing in the treatment of strokes, aneurysms, and vascular malformations.
Beyond my research, I serve as a licensed medical interpreter and enjoy an active lifestyle through swimming, weightlifting, hunting, and playing the cello. I also occasionally share my passion for music by DJing at local events.
